This month, we have a Russian treat for you!
International actress and model Yulia Snigir stars as Irina in this month’s A Good Day to Die Hard. Yulia earned her teaching degree at the State Pedagogical University. While continuing her studies, Yulia became a successful model and was offered a contract with a leading French jewelry brand. Her acting career was launched when she was accepted to the famed Vakhtangov Theatre Academy and was cast in two independent films.
Yulia’s big break came when she was offered one of the leading roles in the Russian science-fiction blockbuster The Inhabited Island. She then starred in the sequel, The Inhabited Island: Fight, which made her a star in Russia. Yulia then became the face of L’Oreal, MEXX clothing and MEXX perfume.
Yulia divides her time between TV, theater and film projects. On the stage, she played a male role in a successful production of King Lear, which won several European and Russian theater awards.
Yulia recently completed work in a starring role on the independent film Delirium, directed by Lee Roy Kunz.
