Do you remember the last time you were at a sporting event, supporting you favourite team as the whole venue ruptured into loud cheers to encourage the home team? Or for those of us who are older, do you remember the time our Singapore Football team took on Pahang or Kedah in the Malaysia league where home-grown heroes like Fandi Ahmad dazzled down the flanks on the football field? Or even when Joscelin Yeo did our nation proud at the SEA games?
Trust me when I say there is nothing like being there right where all the action takes place compared to the watching them on the TV Screen or live streams on the internet. That high energy tempo feeling is just something that cannot be replaced. And with the Sports Hub all ready to host sporting events again like the upcoming football match between Serie A Champions Juventus take on Singapore’s best, you can be sure that the brand new Sports Hub will be buzzling with activity as many sporting events will be making its way there!
Some of these for the month of June include:
TYR 2nd Southeast Asian Swimming Championships

So if you are one that missed the days of the Kallang roar or the high tempo energy of sporting games live, do consider spending the weekend supporting the many teams that will giving their very best as they vile for the top award.
