Cupid’s aim has been rather terrible for me these days although I can’t say the same for my dear editors. The arrow (which was rather big) I got was to cover a fan meet session on Valentine’s Day for local singer Valerie. Although I wonder if they bothered to check if I ACTUALLY had a date before shooting that big arrow *looks at Elliott and Kenneth*
Upon arrival at “Dessert Times”, I saw this young lady in dual pony tail…OMG~!!! She is even cuter in person as compared to what I have seen in pictures. But as I am on official duty, gotta put on my poker face and be professional to do a good job.
As the time grew closer, the place started to fill up into a sizeable amount from the initial hand full of fans. Everyone queued anxiously and orderly as they awaited the autograph session.
Sezing the chance, I quickly got my photo opportunity as I didn’t want to risk getting mobbed by the fans.
1st prize 1402 … wopps I meant 1st in line, “majiam strike lottery siol”
NEXT~!!!
Valerie received each and everyone of her fans in good manner and I couldn’t help but noticed the way she shook hands with her fans… Just like how I do it! Hehe… *Cheeky Grins*
Of course there will always be a number 1 fan and based on the many assignments I been arrowed… been tasked to cover, I strongly believe this is the one. Valerie revived a nice scrap book with items related to her and of course I feel that she deserved all those love.
I think I spoke too soon, this fan was Late but with reason, hence Uncle Ken bestow you 2 pictures =D
Okay…Group picture time… EVERYONE SQUEEZE and ready ? Scissors, paper, STONE~!!! I WIN~!! 8D
If you were wondering what’s with the table, well the fans had a little surprise Birthday cake for Valerie. Now everyone go ngauwwww with me 😛
I forgot who screamed “MAKE YOUR WISH 1ST” but well yes always make a wish before you cut the cake.
*Wishing in progress*
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Boss of “Dessert Times”. Your Mango Sago was so delicious that I had 2 full bowls. Not forgetting the good people from Sony Music Entertainment Singapore as well for the invitation. Lastly to the adorable Valarie, on behalf of my colleagues in POPCulture Online, I wish you well in your future endeavours!
