One of the hottest anime of 2012 has to be Sword Art Online. Directed by Tomohiko Ito and music by Yuku Kajiura, this anime is an adaptation of the light noval series that spans several virtual MMORPG.

Story start off with a massive amount of players who are unable to log out of the Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG), Sword Art Online. They were tgen informed by Kayaba Akihiko, creator of SAO, that if they wish to be free, they must reach the 100th floor of the game’s tower and defeat the final boss. However if their avatars were to die in-game, they will also die in real life.

We follows Kirito, a skill player who is determined to beat the game. As the game progresses over for 2 years, we follows his adventure which eventually falls in love with a female player named Ausuna. And to defeating the avatar of Kayaba, freeing themselves and the other players from the game.

I have always dreamt of a chance to live another life in another world, a world of fantasy. Therefore i could feel for for the players trap in there, and understand their emotion, their determination, their adaptation to the situation. With MMORPG games now being so popular, this anime couldn’t have came at a better time.

2) Initial D Fifth Stage

A Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shuichi Shigeno, that has been adapted into a highly anticipated anime till date. The series protagonist is Takumi Fujiwara, a high school student who happens to have an innate sense for drifting on the local mountain roads. From what you could call a mechanical idiot who doesn’t know the model of car his is driving to being able to advise his mechanic on which preferred suspensions setting , this is the story we will be following.

Awesome and realistic artwork of the cars is what stir me up. And with amazing races following one after another, there is never a dull moment as you sit through the series.
