Members of the media were invited to a media preview session where Ms Yip Weng Yan, Marketing & Export Manager of Thermos Singapore, shared with everyone the rich heritage that Thermos® has over the past 110 years. From the technological birth of its vacuum-insulated in Germany to Thermos® products accompanying the many pioneers in exploration and travel like the Wright Brothers, it was definitely an informative session for everyone.

We were also introduced to the latest Sports Bottle Range by Thermos®, the FFG and FFZ series, and the urban chic TS-400 which features Superior Cold Hydration to keep your drink cold hours compared to other normal containers. As a research done by both Thermos® and the Yokohama National University found that hydration between 5℃ to 15℃ (41°F to 59°F) is effective in helping the body absorb liquids to cool down the body more quickly, these sports bottles would be great for those who play sports.

Another use for these bottles especially the TS-400 which looks like it belongs in the modern office is to keep your ice cold drink cool throughout the day especially if a trip to the pantry fridge is not possible always. The Thermos® FFG Series is currently available in stores now while the TS-400 will be hitting stores this October.

Rounding up the media preview was a quick guided tour over to Takashimaya Basement 2 where Thermos Singapore is setting up a mini pop-up museum for visitors to check out the rich hertiage that Thermos® has achieved over its 110 years. From an exclusive showcase of rare imported artefacts from Thermos® to a plaque given by Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain to Thermos® and not forgetting the metal vacuum-insulated bottles from the 1910s which have inspired and nourished your parents or grandparents over the years, it was quite an informative experience just standing there and taking everything in.

Those looking for good deals on Thermos® products will also be pleased to know that there are quality deals on a wide range of products there. From your insulated mugs for keeping that coffee hot on that cold rainy day in the office to its Carafe range for times where sharing that excellent brew of tea in office is the way to go. I am personally eyeing the Thermos® range of Tumblers for days when I need to cover an outdoor event and the ability to keep my cold drink chilled hours after would be a lifesaver especially out in the sun.
