A new photo for the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures movie, The Lone Ranger has been released. The photo gives a first look at both the Lone Ranger and his his Native American companion, Tonto.
Armie Hammer will take on the role as John Reid, a lawman who becomes the masked avenger known as The Lone Ranger while Johnny Depp will play the role of Tonto, a spirit warrior on a personal quest.
Jerry Bruckheimer will be producing the movie with Gore Verbinski as director. The Lone Ranger is scheduled for a May 2012 release.
