Back once again for another traffic stopping event, this year’s FSO event, rebranded as the Samsung Fashion Steps Out, looks to bring the urban chic to everyone’s favorite shopping belt in Singapore, Orchard Road. Into it’s fourth year running, the Samsung Fashion Steps Out 2013 is presented by the Orchard Road Business Association (ORBA) with the support from the Singapore Tourism Board.
Members of the media were invited to a preview event which sees sees local artist Ash Lee doing a live t-shirt customization demonstration and a live painting session by local pop artist SKOPE who also designed the chairs at the event.
Media and VIPs were then invited to good food and good music with local band Goodfellas performing before the FSO opening act, Fashion stops traffic, which saw a big group of models walking down the street in the FSO t-shirt.
Rounding up the night’s activities was a fashion show by Etro and Pois’ presentation of Mary Katrantzou and Manish Arora’s Spring Summer collection. From floral inspired designs to outfits that would definitely make heads’ turn, everyone looks like they enjoyed the fashion show that night.
This year’s Fashion Steps Out looks to continue to build on the success of the previous years and with many exciting activities such as shopping promotions with Mastercard and the outdoor lifestyle bazaar called Fashion Pops outside Mandarin Gallery. Not forgetting the biggest fashion show where 150 models will take to the streets of Orchard, this is going to be an event that all fashion shoppers shouldn’t miss.
