Richard Marx Stories To Tell Private Showcase

A man that is no stranger to ballad lovers of all ages, Richard Noel Marx (or Richard Marx as he is well known as) was in town recently for the President Star Charity show. After a splendid performance to help raise money for charity, the 49 year old also held a Stories To Tell private showcase at the St James Neverland II on the 15th of October, the Monday after the President Star Charity show.

Performing 10 songs from his recently released Stories To Tell album, Richard Marx wowed the 600 plus strong audience with just a Gibson guitar and his signature voice which everyone has come to loved.

Opening with 1988’s “Endless Summer Nights” and following up with 1992’s “Take This Heart”, fans of the Grammy Award winning singer were treated to many classics that made him a recognisable name till today.

Not forgetting crowd favourite, “Hazard” and also “Now and Forever” which was used in the 1994 film, The Getaway starring Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin, Richard sure took everyone down memory lane with his hit songs. A special video featuring Richard’s 3 sons, Brandon, Lucas and Jesse for the song “Save Me” was a nice personal touch for the singer who has maintained a clean family image for his entire career.

Closing the Stores To Tell private showcase was another song which can still be found at karaoke outings, “Right Here Waiting”, Richard definitely helped to cure the Monday blues with a performance to remember.
