The Museum of Horrors Returns in 3D

Singapore’s biggest walk-in exhibition of classic Hollywood horror movie scenes and legendary horror folklore returns with all new monsters, new levels of terror and also debuts Asia’s 1st 3-D Creepy FunHouse, experienced with special 3-D glasses!

Organised by *SCAPE, (the physical platform and mind space for young talents to hone and showcase their skills and ideas) and by MovieMania (the pop culture character costuming club), The Museum of Horrors returns for its second successive scary year.

Hosted once again at *SCAPE’s Warehouse auditorium, Halloween revelers will witness its transformation into an indoor park of the macabre. It will feature more than 20 classic horror diorama sets and a terror maze 3-D immersive experience, specially viewed through 3-D glasses.

Visitors can interact with live characters, props and backdrops in specially recreated scenes of terror in an engaging environment in air-conditioned comfort.

These dioramas pay tribute to the best of Hollywood movie horror scenes, popular folklore and tales of terror from all horror genres… with multimedia, live costumed trained talents and animatronics combined with shock factors to add to the ultimate Halloween experience.

The Museum of Horrors marks *SCAPE’s third year in organizing Halloween festivities for youths in the prime Orchard Road district. During the Museum of Horror’s inaugural year in 2010, more than 2,000 young people visited *SCAPE over 5 days.

This year, The Museum of Horrors event looks set to raise the bar in the popular Halloween scene in Singapore with unmatched professional quality in the recreated sets, character acting, costumes, sound and lighting, all in a perfect indoor location conveniently right in Orchard Road!

Ticket prices are the lowest in town at only $19 during off-peak season and at only $22 during the Halloween Weekend.

The entire *SCAPE building will also be transformed, to get into the spirit of Halloween as a popular season where people engage in dressing up and having fun and when horror fans can indulge themselves. Tenants will also get into festivities by dressing up their shops and offering tricks and treats to shoppers.

As part of a student engagement programme with Singapore Polytechnic, Year Two students will play a part in assisting MovieMania and *SCAPE with the setup and programming of The Museum of Horrors.
