She has been touring since February this year from Denmark to Germany, Milan, Spain and France and has been receiving some of the best reviews of her career.
On 29 July 2011, Kylie Minogue performed her Aphrodite concert at our very own Singapore Indoor stadium. The spectacular show was homage to Greek mythology and culture, of course with Aphrodite being the Greek God of Love and if anyone on this planet was worthy of that title, It's Kylie Minogue.
Almost 9000 people attended this spectacular concert which saw 7 acts as part of this US$25 million production with dazzling set pieces, it was as good as being a part of a Greek movie or musical. Lets not forget that there was a 14 foot-tall Pegasus, a golden chariot and in typical Kylie fashion, lots of stunning costume changes
Looking like a Goddess, the 42-year-old wowed the crowd from start to finish with the all too familar disco sounding tunes that is so uniquely Kylie.

The two-hour performance featured new songs from her Aphrodite album like "Get Outta My Way" as well as old favourites like "Can't Get You Out Of My Head". Audiences were also treated to acoustic versions of classic hits like "Locomotion" and "I Should Be So Lucky". A nice update of our favorite 80s tunes.
It wasn't all about Kylie though as the concert was really an overall production effort, take for example the last two closing songs "On A Night Like This" and "All The Lovers" which drew much buzz as her dancers performed an impressive Cirque du Soleil style high-wire trapeze act.
From start to finish audiences felt like there were in the old Greek ages and Aphrodite herself was charming them with her powers of love. With thanks to Warner Music do check out the gallery of concert photos below
Kylie next performs in Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition centre on 1 July for her Aphrodite tour
