Jurassic Park 3D Review

Ah yes, it’s like going on a trip back in time. I’m sure you remember this movie from back in 1993 when it wowed audiences all over the world! Who would have thought so much could be achieved with CGI! And here we thought Star Wars was as good as it gets.

The Plot

Ok seriously, we don’t need to talk about the plot. You’ve seen this movie before right? If you haven’t…..GRRRRRR……ok just for you.

6 people went to visit park, technician of park shuts down park security for person gain, dinosaurs get loose, T-Rex roar roar, chase chase, T-Rex eats people, Raptors roar roar, chase chase, Raptors also eat people, cue survivors escape and credits =D

The Verdict

Director Steven Spielberg never fails to entertain me ever since the release of E.T. and all those family gathering moments he tends to include in his movies, a nice mix of adventure and family values. He is probably the director that embodies the meaning of creating a family movie.

Now for Jurassic Park 3D. Honestly just think of this 1993 classic in a more High Definition, 3D update. So you’d expect better detail, contrast and of course the 3D which helps to bring out the feel of the movie more. In fact at some points when the T-Rex is running at you, it kinda seemed like a horror movie…..hmmm

Actually come to think of it, I’m the horror critic for POPCulture Online, perhaps that’s why I got sent to do this review.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Needless to say the movie was great but if you’re going to watch this, remember it’s about the 3D experience! I marveled at the CGI from back in 1993 and realised…..this is actually better that some of the crappy effects we get today in some films. Can you believe this was 20 years ago!
