“I live my life a quarter mile at a time”- Vin Diesel.
Continuing the global exploits in the unstoppable franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson lead the returning cast of Fast & Furious 7.
James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series that also welcomes back favorites Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black. They are joined by international action stars new to the franchise including Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Russell.
Adrenaline pumping. Burning Tyres. Car Porn. Sexy Women. Extreme Speed. Dramatic Explosions. Over-the-top scenarios. Family Bond. All these make up the fast and furious series. No doubt, furious 7 is the best yet as it has deep meaning and has an ending which gives Paul Walker the best tribute he deserves.
Watching Furious 7 while knowing what happened to Paul Walker gave me mixed feelings cos we all know and have to accept the fact that after this, he will never grace the screen with his presence again. All in all, I would say that this sequel would have made him proud. This sequel managed to incorporate deep family values as well into its otherwise predictable plot.
It is definitely a must watch. From the usual high speed chases and explosions, to touching scenarios. Take your pick from vintage classic muscle cars to awesome modern wheels that can leap from buildings to buildings. It gives a nice wrap up and finale, in a way that whether this series continues or not, This sequel nicely wraps up the Brian O’Conner story arc with a heartwarming homecoming that reconciles the disparate team into a happy dysfunctional family of misfits.
