Epson Singapore held a special closed door lunch event to introduce to members of the media its latest L-series ink tank printer, the Epson L655.
Aimed at SOHOs and SMEs, the L655 is a result of not only feedback from users but also by an internal research team commissioned by Epson on the L-series as a whole. The results are a printer that not only offers high productivity value and cost savings but also one that provides duplex printing that is important to business users.
The feature-rich L655 offers the world’s lowest cost in duplex printing, and takes the ink tank system printer range to new heights with an advanced PrecisionCore technology printhead and multiple connectivity options that allow sharing of the printer among users. It is also the first L-Series model that allows users to print water and smudge-resistant black and white printouts, and lab-quality glossy photos when printing on photo media paper.
While aimed at business users, the L655’s features also make it useful for home usage especially with families that have children in the secondary and tertiary education. With today’s projects that require students to scan research sources and print thick reports, the all-in-one features of the L655 plus its cost saving, duplex printing and network connectivity also makes it an asset for the home.
Epson Singapore also brought along 12 other L-series printers, including the impressive A3+ Photo Printer, the L1800, to showcase as part of the event. From colour single function, colour multi-function to photo printers for A4 and A3 printing, these L-series printers depict the evolutionary journey of the world’s first ink tank system printer series, pioneered by Epson in 2012.
The L655 ink tank system printer is priced at $539 (inclusive of GST), and is available from 23 July 2015 onwards at all authorised retailers. More information about Epson and its products are available on www.epson.com.sg.
