Japanese Singer Sayuri Sugawara To Grace EOY 2012 J-Pop Live!

EOY 2012 J-Pop Live, an addition to the usual all in one EOY Japanese popular culture event from the previous years has announced their first artiste, Japanese singer Sayuri Sugawara will be gracing the stage at the Esplanade Concert Hall.

Sayuri Sugawara is no stranger to the Japanese music industry community having released 6 singles and 4 Albums and EPs. But what really shot her to stardom in Japan and perhaps around the world is thanks to a game series that has been the benchmark of role playing games, Final Fantasy.

As with most of the later Final Fantasy Games, there will always be a theme song for each one and Sayuri Sugawara was selected to sing the theme song for Final Fantasy XIII (FF13), Kimi ga lru Kara (Because You Are Here).

Come this December, Sayuri Sugawara will fill the Esplanade Concert Hall with that magical voice of hers as she will be performing Kimi ga lru Kara plus songs from the various other Final Fantasy series. Having also recently released a new single, audiences can expect her to perform other top notch works at the concert.
