COOPOW! Comic & Manga Design Competition

If you are a budding artist or avid storyteller, now is the time to let your creative juices flow in the first comic and manga design competition organised by the Singapore National Co-operative Federation (SNCF).

Create your own comic strip with thrilling storylines and moving scenes that tell a story based on one of the five co-operative values of Co-operation, Self-help, Equality, Mutual Help, and Care for Others.

The competition aims to inspire youth to create their own content and to raise the level of awareness and understanding of the Singapore Co-operative Movement.

There are 4 categories to participate in:

  • Lower Secondary
  • Upper Secondary
  • Tertiary (ITE/Polytechnic/JC/University)
  • Open Category.

There are over $7,000 worth of attractive prizes, including professional graphic design tablets, to be won.

Judging this year’s works is a panel of international and local artists that includes British cartoonist Paul Fitzgerald aka Polyp, Jerry Hinds, President of the Association of Comic Artists (Singapore), as well as local artists Seraphina Lum, Isaac Yap and Mr Kiasu creator, Johnny Lau.
