Its started with a children’s choir and a segued drum solo from the man himself, a band then took to the stage with gold jackets and skinny ties looking like a funkier version of the band from “Back to the future”
They belted out “Locked out of heaven” with the crowd fully on their feet! “Treasure” then got more roars as some really good harmony and dance moves filled the arena with soul!
If you had your doubts about Bruno Mars being able to carry The 48th Superbowl halftime show, then you can lay those doubts to rest. Even one of the football commentators came out and said “There were a lot of doubters.” Once Mars was done, though, doubters should have been few. And let’s not forget the Red Hot Chilli Peppers crashing the show in all awesomeness!
