There shall be no spoilers in this review.
Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.
You’ve waited 10 years for this moment after all the effort that Marvel has taken to build this world with continuity and character building. They’ve introduced you to characters that you have grown to love and you worry now what’s install for their fate when Thanos arrives on earth to collect the Infinity stones.
There have been 18 movies leading up to this climax with the last being Black Panther. I can’t find much fault with it except to say that this movie will rip your heart out at the end.
You’ll ask yourself, what’s next?
There are a lot of characters in this film and the Russo brothers must be commended for balancing screen time without compromising the plot. It’s got good pace, the right amount of humor and it hits you at all the emotional moments.
It is the most ambitious piece that Marvel has done and the payoff is well worth it.
Beloved characters to die…..but I’m not telling you who. The fun is in wondering and speculating right up to the moment it happens and your jaw drops. I will say this though…..this isn’t the end. 2019 can’t come soon enough
Once you come out of the cinema, you’ll want to queue up again and buy another ticket.
