Singapore celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign, an annual flagship event in support of the anti-drug cause. With a focus on Community Togetherness, this year’s campaign will include the Anti-Drug Abuse Carnival – with DIY stations, activities such as skateboarding and a special photo exhibition on 20 years of the Anti-Drug Abuse Campaign. The popular anti-drug dance competition – DanceWorks! will return this year and be held concurrently, within the same hall.
Visitors can take a trip down memory lane as visitors with an exhibition showcasing Singapore’s journey in promoting the anti-drug fight. Visitors can engage in hands-on activities and games infused with anti-drug elements. A new anti-drug game app developed by students from Nanyang Polytechnic will also be launched during the event.
Singapore’s only anti-drug dance competition, Danceworks!(https://instagram.com/danceworks_liveitloud/) returns to challenge youths to spread the anti-drug message through dance! Dance lovers and supporters can look forward to more than 40 teams competing with original dance choreography, based on their interpretation of this year’s theme: “Dance for a Drug-Free Singapore”.
The Anti-Drug Abuse Carnival 2015 is organised by the National Council Against Drug Abuse and Central Narcotics Bureau and will be held at Suntec Singapore Hall 403 on the 26th and 27th June 2015. Admission is Free.
