After School to debut in Japan this August

South Korean girl group After School has announced that they will be releasing their first Japanese single this August. The group has already worked with Japanese R&B and Pop singer Namie Amuro eariler this year for the song Make It Happen in the Checkmate! album and it is not surprising to see the girls entering the Japanese market on their own.

Their first single will be a Japanese version of their hit song, Bang! and is scheduled for release on August 17th. After School is also schedule to hold their first solo performance in Tokyo at the Akasaka BLITZ on July 17th, one month prior to their official debut.

After School's leader Kahi commented that After School will work hard in order to show everyone in Japan why they are known as a group with fascinating performances back in Korea and that the group wants to meet everyone soon.
