Warner Bros. Pictures & New Line Cinema really have outdone the Thais for this one IMO, but I seriously don’t get the nun; it looks to me like a guy dressed in a nun’s attire with a mouth full of Nutella. *ponders*
Reprising their roles, Oscar nominee Vera Farmiga (“Up In the Air,” TV’s “Bates Motel”) and Patrick Wilson (the “Insidious” films), star as Lorraine and Ed Warren, who, in one of their most terrifying paranormal investigations, travel to north London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits.
The movie takes place 6 years after the events of the first movie.
The Warrens find themselves in a humble British town, where a single mother struggles to raise 4 children spiced up with paranormal activities.
Task by the Catholic Church to investigate the situation, is it just some media seeking shenanigan or really some demon busting work needed.
The Fear Factor
The sound! If you watch it in the Dolby Atmos equipped cinema then you’ll really be in for a scare because with the way the sound is enhanced, it will surely keep you on the edge of your seat and your eyes peeled to the screen.
There’s a lot of fluid scene to scene transitions which helps you experience the movie like you’re actually there. There are a lot of scenes where the camera follows the family running around.
(oh come on guys, whats a horror movie if I shared with you all the scary bits? )
Yup ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls over 16, there are some puds and jokes tactfully placed in between the movie to perk you up during the boring bits and breathers after a scare.
“It’s so small and light.”
Ed Warren as he picks up this huge camera.
Good flow of the movie, from how the plot thickens, the scares to the finale; the exorcising of the demon, yup that n̶u̶n̶ ̶m̶o̶n̶k̶ n̶u̶t̶e̶l̶l̶a̶ NUN.
Just find it like the previous movie the finale is just too abrupt AGAIN. *wanker (think i am allowed to use this word since the movie did) demon didnt put up a fight
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
