5 Things You Didn’t Know About Scarlett Johansson

We are all set for Ghost in the Shell that opens this month especially after how the various trailers have wowed us. One thing of course that never fails to get the attention of all men around the world is the mere presence of Scarlett Johansson.

So we’ve decided to name her as our POP babe of the month. Let’s find out more about everyone’s favourite Avenger (I mean seriously, if she showed up next to all the Avengers, you’d probably still pay more attention to her.

1. She has a twin brother

Scarlett Johansson has a twin brother named Hunter. They were born on November 22, 1984 but she is still technically the older sister after being born three minutes earlier than him.

2. She was a child star

She starred in the sequel Home Alone 3. You must rewatch this movie It wasn’t the best of movies but Scarlett was so cute in it.

3. Rich family heritage

Scarlett is half Polish and half Danish. Her father, Karsten Johansson, was born in Denmark. Her mother, Melanie Johansson, comes from a Bronx-bred family of Polish descent.

4. Not a Barbie doll type of kid

Normally, growing up girls are known to be fond of things like dolls and stuff, but she had a weird liking. She loved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and preferred them to other superheroes.

5. Listen up if you’re not afraid of cockroaches

One thing that scares her is cockroaches. Once she woke up with one on her face and now can’t abide the mere thought of them.

Can you imagine we almost nearly didn’t get Scar Jo in the movie as Margot Robbie was in early talks for the lead role. On October 16, it was announced that DreamWorks had made a $10 million offer to Scarlett Johansson for the lead role, after Robbie’s talks for the role fell apart when she was cast as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad.
